Emberwash
Born from ember and watercolor, EmberWash is my signature process of creating pyrographic artwork directly on paper before painting with watercolor.
Rather than using ink, each piece begins with carefully controlled burning, allowing heat to create linework, texture, and shading that become part of the artwork itself. Watercolor is then layered to add depth, atmosphere, and color while preserving the distinctive character left by the ember.
Rooted in nature, storytelling, and craftsmanship, EmberWash pieces celebrate the meeting of fire and water, transforming paper into artwork shaped by both
