The tea is still warm.
An open book waits beside a stack of cherished holiday stories, while candlelight flickers among evergreens, dried eucalyptus, and winter spices. Beyond the window, the world feels distant, softened by weather and time.
Created from a first-person perspective, A Moment to Myself invites the viewer into a rare pause, a quiet space set aside for reading, reflection, and simple comforts. Crafted using my signature EmberWash technique, the piece blends pyrography on paper with watercolor to capture the warmth of a moment that belongs to no one else.
